Georgia State Athletics Introduces the Golden Panther Blonde Ale Craft Beer
August 7, 2024
Wild Leap and Georgia State Athletics have come together to offer Panther fans the Golden Panther Blonde Ale, Georgia State’s first banded craft beer. Affinity Licensing is the collegiate licensing agency behind the project.
"The signature buffalo on our can represents a manifesting of goals and service to the community," Justin Ruth, Director of Off-Premises Sales and Business Development for Wild Leap, said. "It teaches us to be "all in" on the goals we set for ourselves. This partnership with Georgia State solidifies our mission to positively impact the communities that surround us."
Wild Leap Brewery, named Best New Brewery of 2019 by USA Today’s 10 Best Readers Choice Awards, crafts some of the highest quality beers in the country. Craft beer enthusiasts can find Wild Leap locations in Atlants and LaGrange. The Brewerey was started in 2017 and is owned by Anthony Rodriguez.
With the opening of Wild Leap’s downtown Atlanta location, just a short distance to Georgia State’s campus, the partnership between brewerey and university creates a unique strong connection for the community, university and brewery.
The Golden Panther Blonde Ale will be available for purchase at Georgia State Athletic’s home football games, at local area retailers, and online at www.wildleap.com.
"We are excited to partner with a local Georgia-based company like Wild Leap to bring Panther fans their very own craft beer," Georgia State Associate Athletic Director Brandon Kersey, who oversees licensing for Georgia State Athletics, said. "We are grateful for Wild Leap's willingness to partner with us on this, and I am looking forward to seeing this product at Panther athletic events for our fans to enjoy".
Golden Panther will be available for purchase starting August 19th.
