Partnership Between Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and Licensing Partners International Boosts Licensed Merchandise
April 5, 2023
The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame has partnered with Licensing Partners International (LPI) to enhance its product licensing efforts in response to the growing popularity of women's basketball. LPI will work closely with the Hall of Fame to expand its product offerings, collaborating with licensees to attract basketball enthusiasts and consumers. They plan to establish an exclusive Amazon store featuring Women's Basketball Hall of Fame branded products in addition to the current on-site and online retail operations.
Founded in 1999 in Knoxville, Tennessee, the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring all levels of women's basketball, preserving its history, celebrating the present, and nurturing its future. The Hall of Fame currently has 187 members, with the 23rd class set to be inducted on April 29, 2023.
LPI will not only introduce new licensee and retail strategies but also collaborate with the Hall of Fame and its inductees on a group licensing program. This program will involve iconic figures from women's basketball, allowing them to be featured in exclusive merchandise collections.
