UNC Charlotte Extends Partnership with Collegiate Licensing Company

Collegiate Licensing Company, the licensing affiliate of IMG College, today announced the extension of its partnership with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to continue managing the school’s trademark licensing program through June 30, 2019.

In trusting Collegiate Licensing Company to guide its licensing program since 1987, UNC Charlotte has achieved significant institutional milestones, while continuing to gain momentum on multiple fronts:
 

  • 2013-14 represented the largest royalty collection in its history; 

  • Annual licensing royalties have grown more than 20% the past two years, and more than 127% the last ten years;

  • Royalties have increased year-over-year in five of the last six years.

Collegiate Licensing Company’s representation of UNC Charlotte’s licensing program will continue to focus on the management of best-in-class licensees to build the University’s brand while increasing diversity and sales of the highest-quality officially licensed products.
