University of Kansas Athletics and Collegiate Licensing Company Team Up with Celebrity Designer Jeff Hamilton and Original Retro Brand to Deliver Exclusive Leather Jacket

Kansas Athletics and Collegiate Licensing Company have come together for a unique partnership with popular fashion designer Jeff Hamilton for a new and original leather jacket. Due to launch February 24th, the vintage inspired jacket is part of the Jayhawks’ College Vault product program.

Jeff Hamilton’s designs are best known as high-end leather jackets decorated with sports and culturally relevant logos. Hamilton’s jackets are worn by celebrities and athletes. And for this project, Hamilton is teamed up with collegiate licensee Original Retro Brand to showcase the history and legacy of Kansas Athletics. On offer to the college market will be a fashionable leather jacket designed for Jayhawk fans.

“As a basketball enthusiast, I’m excited to help tell the Kansas story through unique design elements and fashion pieces that I know the Jayhawk faithful will appreciate,” said Hamilton.

The Kansas Leather jacket is the official beginning for Hamilton’s new licensed product project that highlights the rich basketball history through on trend outerwear. The jackets can be found in an exclusive limited supply at the 23rd Street locaation of Rally House is Lawrence. A party is set at the Rally House on February 24th from 11am to 1pm. Included in each jacket purchase is a Jeff Hamilton branded bag and a wooden College Vault clothing hanger.

The project, known as the Kansas College Vault X Jeff Hamilton, represents the first release in a new collegiate licensed product program. The College Vault program is a vintage inspired product program that offers tribute to the historical logos and traditions colleges and universities through on trend apparel and hard goods products. The partnership with Hamilton is the first College Vault program of high end college outerwear, combining Hamilton’s well known craftsmanship and significant passion for for basketball with the always fashionable collegiate style.
